This project was to perform a feasibility study of options for capping over the US 40 Corridor from West Baltimore MARC station to Martin Luther King Blvd. The study included 1) the air-right development case study and regulation research for highways and transit stations. 2) highway capping case study research. 3) the research in land banking. 4) summary of findings for air right development, highway capping, highway park, and land banking. 5) Establishing urban design goals for the corridor development and preparing a urban design guidelines statement. 6) concept plans and 3-d Model for Highway capping and air right developments. 7) green streetscape design concepts and color rendering for bridge flanking.
